The Dungeon&Fighter series’ fighting game, DNF Duel, has received a Summer 2022 release window. It also has an open beta period for Playstation on both PS4 and PS5, which at time of writing, would be ending in around 9 hours, unless you are in Germany, due to age rating issues. The official Facebook assures this will not happen for the actual launch. Meanwhile, the newest trailer announcing the release window can be seen below:
Despite announcing the Summer 2022 window, DNF Duel has yet to confirm their launch platforms, though presumably Playstation would definitely be one of them. The official Youtube channel has been releasing videos featuring the playable cast, with teasers of the Berserker, Inquisitor, Grappler, Striker, Ranger, Hitman, Dragon Knight, Vanguard, Kunoichi and Crusader. They’ve also posted informative videos on the basic mechanics on the game: on actions, conversion, MP and HP. They provide the buttons where relevant, though it’s likely still not quite as useful to complete beginners.
The game is confirmed to support rollback netcode, so FGC enthusiasts can rejoice. A manual with the command inputs for characters can be found here, for further study. It seems likely it won’t be out on time to get an EVO slot, but let’s see what happens then.
