Prince Hotels and Resorts, a hotel chain in Japan, are setting up capsule vending machines to let customers gacha for a hotel room. These capsule vending machines, or gachapon, will be installed at 10 hotels around the Tokyo Metropolitan area, such as the Prince Park Tower Tokyo and Shinagawa Prince Hotel.
As part of the hotel chain’s Otoshidama Hatsuyume Gacha 2022 event, guests and non-guests alike can attempt to pull for a room between January 1st to January 10th. A single pull costs 10,000 yen (about 88 USD). Rewards range from meal vouchers to accommodation worth 2.5 million yen (about 22,000 USD).
The prize worth 2.5 million yen is “The Prince Park Tower Tokyo Rainbow Royal Suite Room” (4 pax per room, breakfast and benefits included). There are also 11 suites in the Tokyo metropolitan area, such as the “The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho” suite (1 room for 2 people, with breakfast and benefits) and the “Kawagoe Prince Hotel” dinner ticket worth 1 million yen. These prizes are valid until March 31st, 2022.
Unfortunately, we could not find any details for the drop rates, nor is there a pity system. For more details, visit the Prince Hotel website.
Prince Hotels and Resorts are no stranger to collaborating with games, having collaborated with Granblue Fantasy in the past. The PlayStation Awards back in 2019 was held at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa.
