Inflexion games has announced Nightingale, a crafting fantasy game that they showed off during the Game Awards this year.
Nightingale is slated as an early access game to release in 2023, where it’ll release on PC exclusively. No word has been given on if it will release on more platforms as it reaches 1.0.
The game has you exploring Fae Worlds, with a mix of fantasy creatures as well as realistic creatures like Elk. From the game’s website:
You are stranded beyond our world, cut off by the sudden collapse of the arcane portal network. This catastrophic event has left you – and countless others – fighting to survive in a labyrinth of mysterious and perilous realms.
Prepare for a journey of adventure, danger, and discovery – as you search for a way back to the last haven of humanity, Nightingale.
You’ll get to build all sorts of structures, from simple things like houses to even what appears to be electric towers built from the mind of Nikola Tesla.
Of course, you’ll also have to protect your structures, as the trailer shows all manner of hostile creature come to destroy your settlements.
While some of the building designs look absolutely fantastical, it looks like you’ll be using primarily old-fashioned guns, with everything from level-operated Shotguns and extremely ornate revolvers to dispatch the Fae Beasts.
