Well-known actor Christopher Lee will act as the ambassadors to Jian Xia Qing Yuan R in Malaysia and Singapore.
The remaster of the cult classic PC MMORPG will be returning at the end of the month and it brought to local talent to help share a bit more about the game and its characters and world.
As a Malaysian, Christopher Lee was born in Malacca but is famous as a Singapore-based actor, many viewers love his performance in the television series The Return of the Condor Heroes, an adaptation of Jin Yong’s Wu Xia novel Series. He was selected as Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes in Mediacorp’s Star Awards from 1997–1998, 2000, 2002-2009 respectively, and awarded All-Time Favourite Artiste Award in 2010.
He will be acting as a spokesperson for the remaster. Considering Christopher Lee has a history with martial arts films, he’s a good fit for a martial arts-inspired MMO like Jian Xia Qing Yuan R.
Jian Xia Qing Yuan R is a remaster of the popular 2003 MMO RPG Jian Xia Qing Yuan Online. The game sees the factions of Song and Jin as they fight for control of the battlefield in Wuxia-inspired combat.
