To reroll or not to reroll
Figure Fantasy doesn’t have a built-in reroll system like Revived Witch. While rerolling isn’t too complex, it can be rather time-consuming. For F2P players however, it is highly recommended to reroll as mid to late game progression will be harder without some of the better units.
For the steps on how to reroll, check out our reroll guide. Tip: Rerolling is much, much faster on an emulator!
Clear the main story chapters ASAP
While the game’s story mode isn’t the most lucrative in terms of rewards compared to other ongoing events, new players should prioritise clearing the story chapters as quickly as possible.
This is mainly due to the following reasons:
- Greater Idle Rewards
- Unlocking various features
- Obtain special rewards
Figure Fantasy is an idle game. Your long-term progression is heavily dependent on how much resources you are getting. You’ll need to spend more and more materials on your figurines to upgrade them as you get stronger.
Thus, having more Idle Rewards is paramount to your progress. On top of that, you’ll obviously want to take on more of the game’s content, and the only way to do so is by clearing specific chapters. In addition, you’ll get excellent first-clear rewards like Free Gacha 10x (for rerolling) after clearing chapter 1-12, and up to Gacha 200x if you clear chapter 3-24.
Character and formation strategy (F2P-focused)
For F2P Figure Fantasy players, this section of the beginner guide will look at basic ideas for teambuilding. Note that the late game content will require stronger, more heavily upgraded units. Nevertheless, for the early game, here is a suggestion for team composition.
Yuki and Ume Mizuno, despite being the units that the game hands out to you at the start, are solid figurines who can take you through the early game. With 2/5 of your team filled, that leaves 3 more slots. For your frontline, it’s recommended to have either an additional Defender or Vanguard. In your back row, have another Helper, together with a Militarist or Specialist.
The following are some of the best figurines for the aforementioned positions:
- Khrusos (Defender) – The best Defender in the game, capable of becoming invincible for 3 seconds.
- Eikzia (Helper) – Provides fantastic buffs and is extremely versatile, suited for just about any team composition.
- Osuke Okada (Specialist) – Crowd controller, great at freezing enemies.
- Zhou Yu (Helper) – All around great buffs, also fits in any team composition.
- Zarola (Militarist) – Capable of dealing insane damage that increases every time an enemy is defeated.
These characters are not only useful for starting out, but also remain excellent choices in future content as well. If you haven’t already made up your mind on who to reroll, consider rerolling for the above figurines.
Equipment
Equipment choice in the game is pretty simple. Simply equip your figurines with the equipment that boosts their relevant stats for their roles. For example:
- Tank: Health atau Defense Set
- DPS: Attack atau Critical Set
- Support: Heal Set
Worthwhile In-App Purchases
Normally, we do not recommend this, but Figure Fantasy has an extremely worthwhile deal. For only $0.99, you can get a massive head start. If you feel that you’ll be invested in Figure Fantasy and have $0.99 to spare, consider purchasing:
- Beginner Choice Limited 1: Diamond x240, Gameboy Controller (for decoration in Otaku Zone), Super Blind Box Coupon x5, Super Blind Box Piece x60, Custom Brooch
- 1st Purchase: Figurine Zarola, Diamond x1554, Rare Accesories.
As we mentioned earlier in this beginner guide, Zarola is one of the best damage dealers in Figure Fantasy, useful in almost all of the game’s content. On top of that, you’ll be getting all of the other rewards for only $0.99.
Additional Tips
Here are some other tips that you should keep in mind as you go about your day-to-day Figure Fantasy activities.
- Don’t neglect the Otaku Zone! Remember to decorate it and assign your figurines for additional buffs.
- Certain specific events provide limited rewards—remember to clear all of them.
- Explore and play around with different figurines and team compositions. This is because certain manufacturers and other restrictions for your figurines will come into play in different content.
- Check the Store frequently. Occasionally, there will be valuable deals being offered at low prices.
