Shaman King Funbari Chronicle has received its release date for Japan, set for 8 December 2021. The typical retweet campaign will be happening over on the official Twitter which you can find here.
The game’s website has published quite a few development logs, allowing fans to get a sneak peek at the process behind making the game. Some of the things they revealed include:
- Viewing character 3D models in your browser via Sketchfab
- Studio GOONEYS producing the CGs in collaboration with the game’s developer, Studio Z
- The cast from SHAMAN KING and a garden will also be in the game
Build your own team using the characters of Shaman King, with battles rendered in 3D. From battle backgrounds to their ultimate moves, fans can look forward to unleashing the power of the shamans. As for the story, a new mode dubbed “Mangatic Mode” will allow players to relive through the story, immersing both new and old fans in this work. There will be the typical main story that will blend animation and manga panels, and “card” stories tied to characters.
Pre-registrations are open in the lead up to the Funbari Chronicle release date, though the rewards for doing so seem to be obscured.
