Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that they will release Gundam UC Engage tomorrow, after opening pre-registrations recently in Japan.
They announced that Gundam UC Engage would release on November 30th, but fans would also be able to pre-download the game starting on the 29th.
Fans should be noted that the game is releasing exclusively in Japan first, and there hasn’t been an announcement for an English release of the mobile title.
According to Bandai Namco Entertainment, the game has surpassed 100,000 pre-registrations- an impressive feat given how short the pre-registration period was.
Gundam UC Engage is a squad-based game where you’ll pull for both iconic mobile suits as well as their pilots from the Mobile Suit Gundam series.
These include mechs from all along the UC timeline such as the classic RX 78-2 Gundam, as well as later entries such as the Nu Gundam as well as the Full Armor Gundam from Gundam Thunderbolt, as well as Zeon suits like Char’s Zaku.
Unlike the mechanically intensive titles such as Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2, UC Engage is much more casual-friendly, with the units battling automatically until players decide to activate each units special skill.
Instead a lot of the strategy will come from unit placement, as you position your units before the start of a mission to make sure each mobile suit operates at its best range to score points and emerge victorious.
