The game will be mostly the same as the PS4 version however it will include two additional pieces of content. The previous DLC for the PS4 version, the Digital Art Book, and Digital Secret Files will be included with the base game. The game will also have some new cosmetic outfits for each character to use in the game’s Destruction combat mode. The Japanese version will also come with the English voice cast for the first time.
Developed by acclaimed developer Vanillaware (Odin Sphere, Muramasa: The Demon Blade), known for the distinct art style of their game, 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim is a game about 13 different playable characters attempting to ward off a kaiju invasion using hidden mechas called ‘Sentinels’. The game is split between two game sections, Remembrance, which is similar to a point-and-click adventure mode, and Destruction which is more of a strategy RPG.
13 Sentinels Aegis Rim is currently available for PS4. It will be coming to Nintendo Switch this April, just in time for it to release on the new OLED Switch with the nicer screen.
