WFS and KEY’s upcoming mobile gacha RPG title, Heaven Burns Red, now has a release date in sight. The game will release in February 2022. The announcement was made earlier today on the Heaven Burns Red official Twitter account.

UPDATE: The full release date has been announced.
Here is the English translation of the announcement (according to DeepL):
We have decided to postpone the release of “Heaven Burns Red”, which was originally scheduled to be released in 2021, in order to ensure a stable release. We apologize for the inconvenience. We apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience.
This wasn’t the first time the game has been delayed. First announced back in December 2019, the game was initially cited to release in 2020. However, in February 2020, developer WFS announced that the release date for Heaven Burns Red will be delayed to 2021. As it stands, it seems that the game will likely release next year, considering that both pre-registration and the closed beta test for the game already went live.
As you might expect, there is no word of an English release for Heaven Burns Red as of now. Only time will tell how popular the IP gets in Japan, and whether it will warrant a global release.
