After shutting down Skyblade Sword of the Heavens‘ international servers in December 2020, the game has returned simply dubbed as Skyblade Online. The mobile MMORPG will be launching its SEA servers – and presumably Korean one – on 30 November, serviced by U1Game.
The Skyblade Online launch notice can be found on their website here, which states that the SEA version will go live 10:00 UTC +8 on 30 November. There will be a sharing mini event from 26 November to 30 November to get you Bound Ingot *200, Bronze Medal *20, Silver Medal *20. Rewards are to be distributed 2 days after the event ends. Additionally, players can look forward to an official livestream, though the date and time for that was not provided.
“Player killing” between servers is touted as one of its primary features for this 2021 release, besides experiencing the story or exploring the world based off the manhwa of the same name which debuted in 2002. Other systems include having children – which is implied to increase combat power, somehow -, marriage, class changing, clan warfare, server PVP and brawl battles.
In any case, this launch comes after at least two closed beta periods, with the game enjoying a small but dedicated following. If you were one of the few who played the first game, then this could be a time to come back.
