3D Action game ONI Road to the Mightiest Oni Announced for Console and PC

Clouded Leopard Entertainment Inc in a joint venture with Shueisha Inc and Shueisha Games has just announced the upcoming release for a 3D action game developed by KENEI DESIGN titled – ONI: Road to the Mightiest Oni.

The game is set to be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 as well as for PC via Steam. The official website and Steam Store page for ONI: Road to be the Mightiest Oni are now open, as well.

Summary of ONI: Road to the Mightiest Oni

Kisejima: an island paradise inhabited by the souls of ancient demons (oni). Kuuta, a demon warrior, summons these souls and challenges them to trials. All in order to defeat Momotaro, who is both human and monster. Kuuta (sky), a demon, and his partner, Kazemaru (wind): a tale of sky and wind as they embark upon
an island quest. Immerse yourself in the all-encompassing, yet tiny world by up-and-coming creator KENEI DESIGN.

About the Development

This game was developed by the up-and-coming studio KENEI DESIGN. After designing artwork for Mistwalker, developer of TERRA BATTLE and FANTASIAN, KENEI STUDIO’s president, Kenei Hayama, decided to go solo. After assembling a dev team and creating his own style of games, Mr. Hayama’s exceptional design skills caught the attention of the SHUEISHA Game Creators Camp staff, and ONI was officially selected for their project.
