3 New Games Join PlayStation’s China Hero Project; Including Multiplayer ARPG Unending Dawn

A new multiplayer open world ARPG titled 绝晓 (Juexiao) or Unending Dawn has been announced at the China Hero Project, a Sony Interactive Entertainment initiative to support Chinese game developers. During last year’s conference, AWAKEN – Astral Blade, EXILEDGE and Will-less was revealed.

Previously, it was only revealed to be in development for the PS5 along with Android and iOS. Now, Parcae’s Fate Studio has mentioned that there is going to be multiplayer for the game. Check out the gameplay preview for the game below.

Developed by Parcae’s Fate Studio, Unending Dawn features an anime-style rendering in a multiplayer open-world action format. Players will embark on a journey of cognition with mortal bodies, confronting the unknown from ancient legends to uncover truths and find a glimmer of hope.

Along with Unending Dawn, 2 other games were announced as part of the third phase at the China Hero Project conference.

The second game, 楼兰 (Loulan) is a single-player action-adventure developed by ChillyRoom. Players assume the role of a guard, utilizing unique abilities to solve puzzles, engage in cold weapon combat, defeat formidable enemies, and contend with their destiny.

Lastly, 代号：锦衣卫 (Project: Jinyiwei), is an action role-playing game developed by CangMo Game Entertainment. It is set in a martial arts theme. Players can delve into cultivation elements that closely align with martial arts concepts, emphasizing thrilling combat where players anticipate and counter moves. The game also features a rich storyline and interactive experiences, enhancing the sense of immersion. Here’s the official trailer.

Currently, there are no release dates set yet for the games mentioned. PlayStation’s China Hero Project will be held at ChinaJoy 2024 from July 26, 2024 to July 29, 2024.
